Requirements

For accessing the DCCN HPC cluster, you will need the following:

  • a valid DCCN account, see Obtaining DCCN account.

  • a computer connected to the DCCN Trigon network via the office wired network or with the eduVPN (full trigon access), see Setup eduVPN.

Setup eduVPN

If you are at home or on travel, or connecting your personal laptop to the edurom network, you will need to use eduVPN to connect to the DCCN network first. This is because the DCCN HPC cluster is only accessible from within the DCCN network.

Setting up eduVPN requires:

  • a valid Radboud University Account (i.e. the account name is in email format with either @donders.ru.nl or @ru.nl in suffix)

  • the Microsoft Authenticator application for the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

You can follow the instruction or contact the DCCN Helpdesk.

After you start the eduVPN connection, your computer is “virtually” part of the DCCN Trigon network, allowing you to connect directly to the HPC cluster.
